Heart...



HEART

       She always dreamt of winning and today, she won… The happiest moment of her life is here, but there is no glint in her eyes…she just had a fake smile...
Why?
Because today, she read a page of her best friend’s dairy. She did not want to read, but seeing it addressed to her, she read it…
“I see your eyes shine,
And I am all fine…
I hear your voice, so clear,
I am far from every fear…
One step when to take towards me,
My heartbeat becomes audible to me…
When you come so close,
I see the world with my eyes close…
And always, I become calm,
When I see your charm…
I take a dose of happiness,
Whenever I see your cheerfulness…
I was so glad,
But you made me sad...
You proved, Life is not a bed of roses,
And you gave someone else my roses…
I always loved you,
But maybe I was never worth you…
Is that why you left me?
You didn’t take time to forget me…
I always had a hope, you would one day love me,
But, I was always wrong, please do forgive me…”
              She was in tears, by the end of the poem. She thought how fool she was not to understand her best friend’s feelings. But, she couldn’t help it now, she’s in love with someone else…

She was pacing in the room, biting her nails, blabbering to herself. “Argh... Where did I keep the file?” “Hey devimayya!
